Abstract: This research aims to improve the quality of learning of natural science (Biology) through the use of computer based interactive multimedia on Snowball Throwing in in KKG Prambanan. This research is also aims to find out the response of the teachers towards the implementation of learning model that involves the implementation of intellectual-emotional experience of learners through experience, analysis, action, and attitude formation.
This research was conducted in KKG on the fifth and sixth-grade teachers in Prambanan. The data collected were qualitative directly based on the findings. The stages in this research include 1). Preparation, 2) Implementation of action, 3) observation and 4) reflection, about the learning model Snowboll Throwing in deepening of natural science (biology) learning of human blood circulation system in KKG. The technique of data collection used is the observation that is carried out by collaborators (peers/Widyaiswara) and teachers as participants. Data analysis technique used is qualitative descriptions.
This research was conducted in two cycles. And the result of this research is that the improvement of the quality of learning of natural science (Biology) through the use of computer based interactive multimedia on Snowball Throwing can be viewed on the implementation of cycle I and cycle II. Percentage of learning outcomes on the first cycle: 36%, while in the second cycle an increase in the percentage to 51%. And the implementation of the learning model of snowball throwing gets positive responses from the teachers in KKG in Prambanan. Thus they have an example in implementing the learning in this case could involve an intellectual-emotional experience of learners through activities, analysis, action, and attitude formation.
